![]() I will say I have not taken apart the reels to clean them, but if I have them just on the rod by themselves and spin them by hand there are no issues and they spin quick quickly.īeing my first slot machine I am not sure what this could be. If I connect everything up they are barely moving at all. When I say not fast I am referring to having the reels on the rod with nothing else connected to it (no wire brakes or anything else getting in the way) and the reels move slow. Of course I am running into a few issues, but the one I have questions on right now is the reels not spinning very fast. I got the door open, taken apart just about everything, but the slides and cleaned everything (soaked in degreaser) and have put it back together. The machine I bought was locked up without a key, but was priced accordingly. I purchased a 1948 Mills Hightop and while I have worked on candy and soda machines, I have never worked on a slot machine. ![]() This is actually my first post and the first time I have ever purchased a slot machine.hence my first post :>). ![]()
